SHORTCUTS

  • Live Monitoring: To start live monitoring, with your vehicle running, select the button labeled “START LIVE MONITORING”. Once selected, the COMPORT PRO will immediately start monitoring the available channels. Depending on your vehicle the live monitor channels will be different then the displayed parameters in the image. (see picture below) *** VEHICLE MUST BE RUNNING

  • Data Logging: This feature will record what the live monitor channels are displaying. By selecting the “LOG MONITOR DATA”, the COMPORT PRO will immediately start recording the displayed channel outputs.

  • Stop All Monitors: This button will stop all data from being monitored and recorded. If you are logging, you will be asked to name and save your data log you just recorded.

FLASHING NEW FIRMWARE

  • Flashing New Firmware / Flashing your tune(s): The COMPORT PRO TUNING SUITE is the only company that offers a true cloud based at-home flashing system which allows the end-user to changes calibrations and update new additional features from the comfort of their own home, office or even race track. No need to purchase additional hardware as everything is included in the price of the COMPORT PRO TUNING SUITE.

  • Getting your current firmware / vehicle information: Once you have successfully logged into the COMPORT PRO TUNING SUITE, the next step would be to connect to your vehicle. After following the installation tutorial, depending on your software revision, you would select “GET ECU INFO” or “GET CURRENT FIRMWARE”. This will connect to your vehicle, identify all needed software information and display them on the Console Log. Upon doing so, the “Firmware” drop box will populate with the available tune(s) / firmware upgrade(s) you selected when purchasing including stock.

  • You would then simply select the new firmware calibration / new tune you would like to program / flash into your vehicle. After selecting , depending on your software revision, you would then click on the “FLASH ECU” or “FLASH FIRMWARE” button. Once doing so, the COMPORT PRO will alert you to ensure that you have all electronics off, ignition key is on accessory mode and you are ready to proceed programming. If you have not, you would then move forward in doing so. Once done, you would select “YES”. The COMPORT PRO will not start programming / flash the new firmware into the selected module(s). (see picture below)

  • Once programming / flashing is completed, a message will appear letting you know that the selected software has been programmed successfully. It will ask you to turn your vehicle’s ignition key off for 10 seconds and then you can start your vehicle. (see picture below)

  • Read & Clear Trouble Code(s): This feature is very important. As ECU’s get more complex as years go on so does diagnostic services. Majority of the UDS equipment on the market use generic code reading algorithms that only grab the top layer of error / trouble codes available and when it comes to 2020+ vehicles, the reequipment can not even read this information as it is coded differently. Another benefit of the COMPORT PRO TUNING SUITE is the advanced diagnostic coding we developed to give the shop or end user in-depth diagnostic information to ensure the vehicle has nothing underlying or problematic trouble codes active.

  • To access this feature, depending on your software revision, select the “CHECK DTC” button. This will do an in-depth advanced diagnostic scan on your vehicle’s selected module(s). The result will be displayed on the “Console Logs”
