Newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles (as well as all pre-2019 E-Class) are equipped with a Central Powertrain Controller module more commonly known as a “CPC” module. This CPC module was engineered to override certain aspects of the Engine Control Unit, also referred to as a “ECU” as well as control over other modules controlling things such as exhaust valves.

With overriding control over module’s in your vehicle, limitations are set and controlled by the CPC. These limitations hold back additional performance. Think of the CPC as having two ECUs'. One controlling everything the engine control unit is doing (ECU) and the other (CPC) limiting certain things the ECU is doing.

Since the ECU and CPC work together, our engineers have designed a full CPC upgrade which will include a new CPC module, upgraded software and enhanced features.

The AMR Performance CPC upgrade is custom patched and programmed allowing us to continually access the software. This gives us the ability to allow your vehicle to gain its true potential without the CPC's factory settings limiting the ECU and vehicle performance. The change is tremendous. We unlock the full potential of what the vehicle has to offer. Some of these enhancements are:

• Eliminated Engine Horsepower Limitation (allows ECU access to higher horsepower levels not able to be reach before)

• Eliminated Torque Limitation Restriction (allows ECU access higher torque levels not able to be reach before)

• Eliminated Engine Speed Limitation (allows ECU access higher engine speeds)

• Eliminated Vehicle Speed Limitation (allows ECU access to higher MPH speeds)

• Modified Adaptation For Performance Indicator (quicker throttle and engine speed response)
